Hello! I’m am beyond thrilled to be part of the April 2021 My Monthly Hero release blog hop! It’s such a unique and fun kit to create with. There are three stencils in the kit and I’m using two of them today. There’s also a lot of fabulous solid stamps included, all with coordinating dies. The kit is valued at $83 but costs only $34.99!

Pre-order your kit today – we estimate kit shipping will begin Friday, April 9th and continue throughout the following week.

Some of the dies are solid, so I cut cardstock into 3” squares then die cut each of the images from them before stamping. I used these squares as templates when I stamped.

Place template in corner of Misti. Place a blank die cut into the negative space on the template, line up the stamp and stamp image. Repeat as needed. Save the templates for future use.

1. Using a large piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock, line up stencil with one corner. Blend on reactive inks with a blending brush (one is included in the kit). I used the following:

Blue card: Pool Party, Blue Raspberry, Blue Hawaii

Rainbow card: Fruit Punch, Creamsicle, Lemon Drop, Green Apple, Blue Hawaii, Grape Slush

2. Rotate stencil 90 degrees and repeat with the same inks. Where the inks overlap on the blue card, that area should end up a bit darker.

3. Die cut cardstock with largest rectangle infinity die. This way you can pick the best section to use.

4. Stamp the images. I used Serengeti Sunset Ombré Ink Pad for the fish and all the hearts and Tide Pool to Navy Ombré Ink Pad for the dragonflies.

5. Use the images to determine sentiment placement and stamp sentiments with Intens-ified Black Ink.

6. Add images to the panel with foam tape.

7. Adhere panel to A2 card base.

Head over to Hero Arts to purchase your My Monthly Hero kit or better yet, subscribe. It’s always sad to miss out on a great kit! Make sure you check out all the add-ons while you’re there. I know there’s a few coming home with me this month!
