I just fell in love with the Hot Air Balloon Infinity dies that Hero Arts released last month. A shaped card seemed like a perfect idea!
I cut the card base from Neenah 110lb Card stock to 11 x 4 1/4 and scored it at 5 1/2. After folding on the score line I placed the largest die on the card with the top of the die hanging slightly off the card. I ran it through my Gemini Junior twice to get it cut all the way through.
I cut a frame using the largest two dies from Gina K Designs Wild Dandelion card stock. I also cut a base from the same color with the largest die.
I cut the Gina K Designs Lemon Drop card stock with the Altenew Spring Shower Cover Die. I fiddled with the largest balloon die to decide which part of the background die I wanted to use and then cut it. I adhered the full ballon piece to the card base. Then I adhered the floral background die cut and finally the balloon frame.
I die cut the largest basket twice from Gina K Designs Edible Eggplant Card stock. I cut a strip of thick plastic from packaging and glued it between the card base and the balloon piece. I left a gap and adhered the basket die cut on either side of the plastic and trimmed the plastic.
I cut the Hero Arts Happy Message Fancy die from the Edible Eggplant card stock four times, glued them together and to the card. I added some Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to the word. The banner and stamped word are from the Hero Arts March 2018 My Monthly Hero Kit. The card stock is the Wild Dandelion and the word was stamped with Altenew Midnight Violet ink.
I have similar card I will share later in the week. I hope you found this tutorial helpful and maybe learned something!
