These cards were so simple with minimal supplies and they turned out beautiful!
Supplies:
Filigree Bunny Wafer Die and Filigree Egg Wafer Die from Simon Says Stamp
2 pieces per card of Bristol Smooth Card stock
Distress Oxide Inks in Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick and Hickory Smoke
Hero Arts White Detail Embossing Powder
Lawn fawn greetings from Eggstra Amazing Easter stamp set and Celebrations Scripty Sayings Stamp Set
Put a Bow on it Die Set from Lawn Fawn
I first centered the die on the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of card stock, added small pieces of masking tape to keep it in place and die cut the image. On the second piece of card stock I added the pink distress oxide colors only where they would show through the die cut.
Next, I added the gray distress oxide to the die cut layer. I focused on making it darker on the image and getting lighter as it moved away. I stamped the greetings and heat embossed them directly on the bunny and on vellum for the egg card.
After die cutting the smallest bow, I added worn lipstick distress oxide to both sides. It would have been much easier to use pink card stock. I added foam tape to the back of the die cut piece and placed them on top of the inked piece. There is no foam behind the image but probably should be.
I assembled the bows, glued them in place and added a gem from my stash. I also adhered the vellum strip to the egg image.
And that was it. Two cards that came together in less than an hour total!
