I began by applying ink with a blending tool to a piece of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″piece of card stock. I used both blue inks included in the kit. Once the ink looked the way I wanted I placed the card stock and the background stamp in the Misti. I sprayed the background lightly with water and pressed it on the ink blended piece. After opening the Misti I dabbed a towel over the stamping to remove the water and it left behind a lighter area showing the bubbles from the stamp. The intensity and thickness of the bubbles varied based on how much water was on an area and how hard I pressed.
Next, I stamped the fish, seaweed and snail images with black ink, colored and die cut them. After I decided where I wanted everything placed, I stamped and embossed the greeting. Then I added all the stamped images with foam tape throughout the card. I added the bubbles as if they were coming up from the bottom with liquid glue.
When I was done I wasn’t completely happy with it. I added a white frame which made a huge difference to me.
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I put this card together!
