This sweet and dreamy card is perfect for so many occasions.
Supplies:
Hero Arts Nesting Clouds Infinity dies
Hero Arts White Detail Embossing Powder
Nuvo Drops in white and pale gold
Zig clean color real brush markers: wine, light pink, pink haze, shadow mauve, light green, yellow green, blender, beige, medium beige
I first stamped the images in the Hot Air Blooms set onto bristol card stock then colored them in. I added the darker color first then the lighter color and blended it out with the blender pen. I die cut these pieces and set them aside.
I die cut the clouds from bristol card stock and vellum. I added some of the blue ink to the edges of the white clouds.
I fiddled around with all the pieces deciding where to place everything. Before adhering anything I stamped the birds in a visual triangle onto the background. I adhered the die cut clouds flat with liquid glue. I hid the glue on the vellum by adding a white nuvo drop over it.
I stamped with Versamark and heat embossed the sentiment onto one more vellum cloud and added a small amount of foam adhesive to pop it up. Again, I hid this with a nuvo drop.
I added champagne nuvo drops to the center of every flower. I also added some detail to the vellum clouds with a white gel pen to help them stand out a bit.
I also wanted to share some exciting news. I am now part of the A Blog Named Hero Facebook Inspiration Team! I created this card the day I was offered a spot. My first card for the team will go up later in the week.
I hope you found this tutorial helpful! I’d love to hear any questions or comments you have!
