Hello! I’m sharing a somewhat clean and simple card for the A Blog Named Hero Facebook Team.
Supplies:
HeroFlorals Color Me Flower Cling stamp
Polychromos colored pencils: 101, 107, 108, 111, 119, 123, 128, 136, 137, 138
I began with a 4 1/4×5 1/2″ piece of card stock. I stamped the background on it. The I stamped the flower twice each hanging off but one more than the other. I colored the flower by adding white first. Then I used three shades of each color. I added one layer of color with a light hand then did a second layer heavier and then added a white pencil to make a highlight on each petal.
I die cut the sentiment from black and gold card stock and from a scrap piece of cardboard backing. I glued the gold paper and cardboard together then I added the black card stock offset slightly. I stamped and heat embossed the smaller greeting onto black card stock with gold embossing powder. I adhered it flat to the card just under the d and s in kindness. The last thing I did was use a make up brush to add soft granite ink to the edges. I adhered this panel to an A2 card base.
The April Challenge has ended but you can still head over to A Blog Named Hero for inspiration! And be sure to like the A Blog Named Hero Facebook Page.
