Card Inspired by Another Maker

The current challenge at A Blog Named Hero is to create a card inspired by another. For my card I was inspired by Annie Williams. I love her use of florals and her subtle backgrounds, especially in this card. Her cards are uncluttered and calming, definitely not like my typical cards. I hope the card I was inspired to create comes close to achieving those traits.

I began by stamping the background stamp in the light brown ink. I blended the same color over the panel to make it more subtle then added darker brown ink just to the edges. I stamped the flower twice with copic safe ink. I colored the flowers with the Copic markers listed below.

I stamped and heat embossed the greeting onto shimmery copper cardstock. I added the cardstock strip with liquid adhesive and the flowers were popped up on foam tape.

I hope you will share a card inspired by another crafter and enter it in our challenge. Visit the A Blog Named Hero Facebook Page for more “inspired by” creations and maybe find someone to inspire you!
