The new March Papercraft Business Challenge is a male birthday. I created this one layer card full of classic cars for the challenge. Be sure to scroll to the bottom to see what you could win if you entered!
Decide on sentiment placement and block it out with purple tape. Arrange stamps from the Honey Bee Stamps Car Show stamp set on the 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” panel of white cardstock. The best way to avoid odd gaps is to start with cars close together and framing the sentiment. Stamp the cars in Copic safe ink. Rearrange them being careful not to end up with odd gaps and stamp them until background is full.
Color the images with copic markers. I used the following colors:
BG000, BG11, BG15, BG90, BG93, BG96, B00, B24, B28, B93, B95, B97, B99, N0, N2, N4, N6, N8, R22, R24
When coloring is complete add shadows to one side of each car. I added N4 to left and bottom of each car, then N2, N0 and the blender to fade the gray out.
Stamp the two sentiments from Simon Says Stamp Stop Drop and Party stamp set in Soft Navy Ink. Add highlights with a white gel pen. Use a shimmer pen on the headlights and taillights on the cars.
I hope you like this card and found the tutorial helpful. Visit Papercraft Business Challenge to find more inspiration from the team and to enter your own male birthday projects for a chance to win the stamp set below. Thanks for visiting!
