There’s a new challenge at Papercraft Business Challenge for April. We are creating Easter projects! Scroll to the bottom to see what you could win by entering your Easter themed project.
This gorgeous Filigree Oval Wafer die is one of my absolute favorites from last year. I began by die cutting it from a rainbow of colors. I did my best to keep all the inner pieces in place by placing cling wrap or painters tape on the back of the die cuts. I then centered the die on a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock cut to 4 1/4”x5 1/2”. I popped out all the inner pieces and used liquid glue to adhere the panel to the front of an A2 card base. I then began inlaying the colored cardstock pieces in rainbow order using liquid glue. I have enough colored die cut pieces that I could make six of these cards if I want to. Finally, I stamped the Happy Easter sentiment in Soft Navy dye ink.
I hope you join us for this challenge. You could win the die shown above! Some days it’s been hard to keep going but making cards helps me to get through this difficult time. Please stay safe, stay healthy and stay home!
What an absolutely beautiful in-laid die cut Easter egg! I love that it is so clean and simple – yet so bright looking at the same time 🙂
