I’ve got one more card for the hugs from a distance challenge at A Blog Named Hero. The challenge has ended but a new one will start in a few days.
Everything I used on the card is from the July 2019 My Monthly Hero Kit. You could also use Color Layering Pier at the Lake or Color Layering Mountains at the Lake. I stamped and die cut all the pieces.

I cut a card panel from Arctic cardstock to 3 1/2” x 8 1/2” and placed a 2” piece of Meadow cardstock flat on the panel. I stamped the sentiment and birds on the Arctic cardstock and the waterlines and monster on the Lapis cardstock using navy dye ink.

I then added two layers of foam tape to the bottom of the dock piece but one layer on the rest. I attached the dock to the Lapis cardstock with the bottom hanging off. I added foam tape to the Lapis cardstock, the mountains and the trees and adhered them all to the panel. I adhered the remaining die cuts to the panel. I added white gel pen throughout and shimmer pen on the water.
I hope you like this card and found the tutorial helpful. Make sure to check out all the inspiration at A Blog Named Hero Facebook Page. Thanks for visiting!
