Two Colorado Craft Company Honey Bee Cards

Today I’m sharing two cards using Big and Bold stamps from Colorado Craft Company. These stamps are my current favorites!

I first stamped the Big and Bold Honey Bee onto white cardstock using Inkon3 Fadeout No Line Coloring Ink. I colored the image with Copic Markers. For the body I used E19, E49, E79, YR21, YR23, YR27. For the legs I used 100, N6, N8. For the wings I used BV0000, B60. I fussy cut the image. I did not try to be too precise around the legs and antenna. I colored in any areas where I didn’t cut close enough.

The Big and Bold Daisy and Bee Background was stamped onto white cardstock using Warm Sunshine ink from Altenew. I then stamped just the edges, first with Caramel Toffee and then a little less with Paper Bag ink. Using a blending brush, I blended on the same colors to the same areas. I then splattered on those colors along with gold metallic watercolor.

I stamped the sentiment then adhered the bee. I used liquid glue for the legs and foam tape for the body. I did not adhere the wings. Then I added white pen detail, shimmer pen to the wings, Nuvo Drops in Mustard and sequins to finish it off.

For my second card, I stamped and heat embossed the bee image in clear powder on black cardstock. I used Kuretake Metallic Watercolors to color in the bee. I then fussy cut it. This one was a bit easier because of the embossing.

The background was stamped in Antique Gold Pigment ink from Altenew. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder. This bee is also adhered with foam tape on the body and liquid glue on the legs. The wings are loose. I adhered the sentiment with foam tape and added some sequins.

I hope you like the cards I’ve shared today and found my tutorial helpful. Go check out all the amazing stamps at Colorado Craft Company. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. Thanks for visiting!
