Hello! I’m finally back to working on my Altenew Educator Certification Program. This card is for the For the Guys class. I was inspired by the first lesson, geometrics.
I began by placing a piece of purple tape to mark where I would place my sentiment. I then began stamping the circles from the Dot Art stamp set onto a 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” panel of white cardstock.
I clustered the stamps together and then stamped them all in the same color. I repeated this to fill the panel.
I used the following inks: Sea Breeze, Industrial Diamond, Sweet Leaf, Hunter Green, Starlight.
It was by a happy accident that I began overlapping some images. I think it added more interest to the card.
I stamped the sentiment using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Lastly I added white Nuvo drops to some images.
I love all of the small images in this stamp set. They are perfect for creating colorful backgrounds that take very little time.
What are your favorite sets from Altenew for creating backgrounds? What sets do you use for cards for boys and men? Leave a comment to let me know!
