Hello! It’s time for another Papercraft Business Challenge! Christmas is our theme this month so I’ve got a slimline card for you today.
Some links below are affiliate links. At no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase.
Cut a piece of Hero Hues Arctic cardstock to 8 1/2” x 3 1/2”. Place the panel in a Misti stamping tool. Stamp the ornament from the October 2020 My Monthly Hero kit on the bottom 2/3 of the panel with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Add White Sparkle Embossing Powder (included in kit) and heat with heat tool.
Using an Embossing Pen and t-square ruler, draw a line from ornament to top of panel. Add White Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat with a heat tool.
Stamp snowflake images with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Add White Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat with a heat tool. Repeat this to fill the portion above the ornament.
If you wish to cut this panel down to have a border from the card base, do it now. I messed up my card by cutting it after I added foam tape!
Die cut the inner portion from the stamped ornament. Stamp the sentiment onto Hero Hues Cherry cardstock with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Add White Detail Embossing Powder and heat.
Add foam tape to back of card panel. Center sentiment in the opening of the ornament. Add adhesive to back of sentiment cardstock. Place on 8 1/2” x 7” piece of Hero Hues Arctic cardstock scored and folded at 3 1/2”.
I added the Hero Hues Cherry cardstock frame to cover my mistakes when I trimmed it after adding foam tape. I used a white gel pen to add dashes lines.
Use white gel pen to add dots around snowflakes. Add white hearts from Buttons Galore around sentiment.
Be sure to create your own Christmas themed project and upload it to the challenge post at Papercraft Business Challenge. You’ll have a chance to win the gorgeous die shown above. I can’t wait to see what you create!
Thanks for visiting!
Fabulous card! I have slim line dies, but have yet to create with them! I need to get on that!
A wonderful slimline card, Jennifer! I love the beautiful sentiment you’ve used. Makes it very special! Take care! 🙂
