Assembly Line Style Cards – October 2020 My Monthly Hero

Hello! I’ve got eight cards today all made assembly line style using the October 2020 My Monthly Hero kit. They were so quick and easy to make!

Cut one piece each of Hero Hues Arctic and Paradise Cardstocks into 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” panels. Stamp the background stamps with Embossing and Watermark Ink.

I used the Delicate Snowflake Bold Prints, Snowflake Pattern Bold Print (appears discontinued), and Ornament Background Cling Stamps. I decided to leave the last two panels plain.

Add White Sparkle Embossing Powder, included in the kit, to the Arctic Cardstock and Wow clear Embossing Powder in Clear Sparkle to the Paradise Cardstock. Heat with a heat tool.

Stamp two sets of the images from the kit with coordinating dies. One set in Pale Tomato Mid-Tone Shadow Ink and the other with Gina K. Designs Cherry Red Dye Ink. Die cut them out.

Die cut six white ovals, three scalloped ovals from the kit in Arctic and three in Paradise. The other two panels use a one inch white strip that’s hiding an embossing mistake. Stamp the sentiments from the kit in the same inks as above on the white cardstock.

Adhere the white ovals on the colored cardstock ovals. I paired the Pale Tomato Ink with the Paradise Cardstock and the Cherry Red Ink with the Arctic Cardstock. Add stamped images around sentiments. Adhere to panels with foam tape.

Add star embellishments. Add white gel pen outlines to the plain panels. Cut these two panels plus the ornament background panels down to 4” x 5 1/4”. Add these to white card bases with foam tape. Adhere the others flat.
