I stamped the image from Lovely Legs Santa is Coming on two pieces of Neenah Classic Crest cut to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” with Gina K. Designs Amalgam Ink in Obsidian.
I colored one panel with Copic Markers. The other I colored only the floor and trim with Copics. I blended on Antique Linen Distress Oxide with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide on the edges.
Copics used: E53, E55, E57, E59, N0, N2, N4, N6, N8, W1, WE, W5, W7, R20, R22, R24, R27, R59, YG03, YG17, YG63, YG69, BG0000
I used Tim Holtz Mini Snips to carefully cut out the scene minus the floor and trim. Don’t bother with the smoke or the garland bits. That’s why the background is stamped too. Before adhering the the scene, stamp the sentiment with Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink.
I added foam tape to the back of the scene and lined it up on the ink blended panel. Most of the cuts were fairly simple but I really love the added dimension.
If you are really ambitious you could color and cut out another set of stockings and pop them up on more foam tape. Or cut out the inside of the fireplace and attach that flat to the panel.
To finish things off I added accents with white gel pen, shimmer pen and Sakura Stardust Pen. It might be nice to add Glossy Accents to the ornaments as well. I then placed the panel on a white A2 card base.
