I stamped the Colorado Craft Company Big and Bold Nordic Ornament stamp onto a 6” square piece of Hero Hues Arctic cardstock. I stamped the image with Embossing and Watermark Ink, sprinkled on White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set it.
Next, I used the largest Circle Infinity die to cut it and a piece of acetate. I also cut a frame for the front from red shimmer paper using the two largest circle dies.
I should have used the largest and third largest dies so I had more space for foam adhesive but I made it work in the end.
I adhered the frame to the acetate with liquid glue. Next I added 1/8” foam strips to the back of the frame. It’s very important that all strips are close together so nothing leaks.
I filled the shaker front with star sequins and micro beads. The beads are fun because they add noise.
I put liquid glue on top of the foam tape to make things extra secure and placed the embossed circle over the frame. Place acrylic blocks on top while it dries.
I flipped the shaker over. Then it was time to heat emboss with White Detail Embossing Powder onto Cranberry cardstock, die cut and adhere the sentiment with foam tape in the center. I also heat embossed the hanger piece in Silver Embossing Powder and fussy cut it out. To finish I adhered red ribbon to the back with adhesive tape
I hope you’ll create a project for the December Anything Goes challenge. You get a chance to win the product shown above!
