Hello! I wanted to make scene cards with these two Anita Jeram stamps from Colorado Craft Company so I went through my stash to find some stamps or dies that would help. Along the way, I managed to use up scraps from other projects and fix a few mistakes without wasting paper.

The stamp used in these cards plus many more are on sale at Scrapbook.com right now!

Read all the way to the end for a giveaway!

These two cards are essentially the same with minor differences. I’ll note them below.

1. Stamp the image from the All Weather Friends stamp set on watercolor paper. One was stamped with Gina K Designs Amalgam ink in Obsidian. The other in InkOn3 Fadeout Ink, but the stamp wasn’t clean enough so the lines show a bit.

2. Color the image with Karin Brushmarkers Pro and a water brush pen.

3. Once dry, die cut the image with the coordinating dies.

4. Cut a piece of Bristol Smooth paper to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”.

5. Blend a light blue ink on the bottom of the panel and a gray on top. For the “ I miss you” card I used Distress Oxides in Hickory Smoke and Speckled Egg and a foam blending tool. For the “Sun will shine” card, I used Slumber and Rocky Slopes inks from Pinkfresh Studio and blending brushes.

6. Die cut clouds with the Cloud Borders dies from Honey Bee Stamps. I used a scrap of watercolored cardstock from this project I did last month. Position the cloud on the panel to determine where to stamp the image.

7. Stamp the image on the panel using the blue ink used to create the background. This will add the puddles.

8. Stamp the sentiment in Pinkfresh Studio Sapphire ink.

9. Stamp the raindrops with the gray ink. Try to add raindrops that overlap the image a bit. Remember to place the colored image and stamp over it too!

Make sure they are facing the right direction! Mine were upside down and my attempt to fix them was a failure. I was able to flip the paper over and try again. But I did it again on the second attempt. This time I added white gel pen over them.

10. Add the clouds and die cut image with foam tape.

11. Add white gel pen to the puddles and gently smudge it. Add white gel pen lines like rain.

12. Add panel to a white A2 card base. I considered glitter or other embellishments but decided to leave it alone.

I’ve got an Ice Cream Day stamp to give away today. Please leave a message by January 31 for a chance to win. I’ll announce the random winner on February 3. I’d also appreciate it if you’d subscribe to my blog below!
