I’m so excited to be part of the Instagram hop celebrating 9 years of A Blog Named Hero challenges! I’ve been a part of their Facebook team for two years now and I’m honored to continue share my love for Hero Arts through these monthly challenges. So, let me tell you how I created this anniversary card.
1. Stamp the Novel Prose Bold Print on to a 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of white cardstock with Grape Slush Reactive Ink. Blend over it with reactive inks. Cover panel with Thistle Reactive Ink, then outer sections with Grape Slush Reactive Ink and edges with Purple Galaxy Reactive Ink. Let dry.
2. Once dry, randomly stamp flower from the Hero Florals Lotus stamp set with Sea Salt Reactive Ink over ink blending. Let dry.
3. Stamp the frog from Hoppy Day stamp set and lily pad from the Hero Florals Lotus stamp set with Contour Ink. Color with Copic markers: YG00, YG03, YG17, G28. Die cut with coordinating dies.
4. Stamp the sentiment from Hoppy Day stamp set with Embossing and Watermark Ink, sprinkle on White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Use the die cuts to help with placement.
5. Add stamped images with foam tape.
6. Add tiny silver stars with liquid glue.
7. Adhere panel to an A2 white card base with adhesive tape.
8. On the inside of the card, stamp image with Grape Slush reactive ink. Stamp sentiment from Everyday Sayings stamp set with Instens-ified Black Ink.
