Hello! I’ve never created a 5” x 7” card before this one. I liked it but there was so much more space to fill! The die sets I used from the Stained Glass Bouquet Collection from Becca Feeken reminded me of Beauty and the Beast so I embraced that for this card.
- Die Cut pieces from Deco Blooms and Sweet Rondure Etched Dies sets as follows:
- Outer two Deco Blooms dies from Hero Hues Arctic Cardstock
- Next three dies twice from Neenah Solar White and once from Silk Glitter Cardstock in Opulent Opal and Hero Hues Meadow (keep the inner pieces of these two).
- Rose from Sweet Rondure die set from Neenah Solar White, Hero Hues Cranberry and Meadow Cardstocks (keep inner pieces).
2. Adhere the blue piece to a 5” x 7” white card base, then the first white die cut on top of that. I used Bearly Art Precision Liquid Glue for everything.
3. Inlay the green pieces and the glitter pieces.
4. Using one center white piece, add a glimmer plate sentiment from Let Your Sentiments Shine Brighter using Rose Gold foil. Adhere to center.
5. Add second white layer.
6. Glimmer hot foil the sub sentiment from Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plates on blue cardstock with Rose Gold Foil and die cut.
7. Adhere white outline of rose to printer paper. Inlay red and green cardstock. Cut extra printer paper off.
8. Add foam tape to rose and sub-sentiment and place on card.
There are so many fun techniques that could be done with these die cuts. I think adding glossy accents to the inlaid die cuts. Coloring on vellum layer behind the outline dies would be beautiful as well. This design would work great for so many occasions as well.
