Kit Value: $34.99
1. Stamp images from kit using the Intensified Black Ink included in the kit onto Neenah Solar White cardstock.
2. Color the images with your preferred medium. I used Copic markers in BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78. This set of markers blend very well together making them a good choice if you want to practice blending.
I followed a few rules while coloring these images. The further back a section, the darker it’s colored. The larger the section, the lighter it will be. Add more dark marker once the coloring is finished.
3. Die cut images. Lay die cuts out on a piece of Nautical cardstock cut to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” to get spacing for sentiment.
4. Stamp sentiment with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Sprinkle on White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set.
5. Using foam tape, add die cuts to panel. Trim overhang.
6. Adhere panel to a white A2 card base.
7. Add shimmer pen and white gel pen to images. Add white gel pen dots throughout background.
Hero Arts will give away one $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, May 9th at 11:59pm pacific, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week. Head over to Hero Arts to get this kit and the add-ons. Your card is a stunning beauty! I love, love, love that it’s not “samey” — it is its own genre and it’s GORGEOUS. Thanks for the written notes, too!
