Hello! This month, Pop-Tone Card Stock is on sale at CutCardStock so I thought I’d show off a rainbow of love on my card today. It’s Pride month which is why I created a rainbow and used the sentiment, however, I am an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community always.

1. Cut strips of Pop-Tone Card Stock to 1/4” x 8 1/2”. I used Cotton Candy, Red Hot, Orange Fizz, Lemon Drop, Gumdrop Green, Sno Cone and Grape Jelly.

2. Cut a piece of printer paper to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”.

3. Adhere the Pop-Tone Card Stock strips to the printer paper on the diagonal using your preferred method. I used an adhesive sheet but you could also use liquid glue or tape runner.

4. Die cut the word love from the Love You XL Stamp & Cut from the striped panel twice. I attempted to line them up in the same manner they will appear on the card.

5. Die cut the word two more times from Sweet Tooth Card Stock and once from Black Licorice Card Stock for each word.

6. Adhere the Sweet Tooth Card Stock die cuts behind the striped word with liquid glue.

7. Adhere the Black Licorice Card Stock offset to create a shadow effect.

8. Cut a piece of Sweet Tooth Card Stock to 4” x 5 1/4” and stamp a Script Bold Prints on it in Hero Arts Contour Ink.

9. Adhere word die cuts to stamped panel.

10. Die cut a heart from Red Hot Card Stock. Stamp and heat emboss the word “is”. Place between the die cut words on foam tape.

11. Add shimmer pen to striped words, then a small amount of Nuvo Drops in White Blizzard to the bottom of the words.

12. Add panel to Basis Grey 80lb Card Stock cut to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. Add Hearts Droplets with liquid glue.

13. Adhere to a Premium Classic Crest A2 Folded Discount Card Stock.

When doing this technique, it’s better to adhere the strips to printer paper so you don’t add bulk and make the die cutting difficult. It also helped that the Pop-Tone Card Stock was only 65lbs.

This card is not part of the Love Wins Instagram Hop happening from 12pm CDT(I will have links then), but you should check out the hop to support the LGBTQIA+ community, crafters and allies. My cards will be shared in tomorrow’s group!
