Hello! I’ve got two cards to share with you today using stamps from Spellbinders’ new Be Merry collection. I knew these cards would be all about the coloring so I needed to keep things manageable. To do that, I chose a favorite color scheme and used it on both cards and for all images. Though they all use the same colors, the images stand out.

1. Cut I piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock to 3 1/2” x 8 1/2”.

2. Stamp snowmen from the Friendly Snowmen stamp set using Intens-ified Black Ink in a row until the panel is filled. Overlap the images slightly, using masks for the parts that need them.

3. Add the stars in the space between some of the snowmen.

4. Color the images using the following Copic markers. Links are at the end of this post.

R32, R35, R37, N0, N2, N4, Y11, Y15, Y17, BV0000, B0000, B000, E50, E53, E55

5. Cut apart the sentiment from the Home for Christmas stamp set. Line it up straight either in a Misti (my preferred method) or on an acrylic block. Stamp first and last words in Gina K Designs Cherry Red ink and middle position in a Hero Arts Charcoal ink.

6. Cut panel down a 1/4” on each side and adhere to a slimline card base with foam tape.

7. Add white gel pen highlights, black glaze pen to eyes and black Nuvo drops for buttons.

1. Cut a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”.

2. Place the panel in a Misti and cluster the gnomes and the holly from the Holiday Gnomes stamp set in a corner of the cardstock. Stamp using Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink.

3. Repeat step 2 working diagonally across cardstock. Be careful not to leave any large space trapped on the card.

4. Color images with the following Copic markers. Links are at the end of this post.

R32, R35, R37, N0, N2, N4, W1, W3, W5, G21, G24, G28, E00, E11, E13

5. Stamp the sentiment from the Home for Christmas stamp set with Embossing and Watermark Ink onto Pitch Black Cardstock. Sprinkle with White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Cut to size and adhere to panel with foam tape.

6. Adhere panel to and A2 card base with adhesive tape.

7. Add white gel pen highlights.

I fell in love with these stamp sets as soon as I saw them! These cards were so much fun to make. The snowman card reminds me of an outtake from a family Christmas photo shoot. The simple coloring made things so much easier.
