Hello! I’m so thrilled to be a part of the Hero Arts 2021 Holiday Catalog Blog Hop! I’m sharing a card and a tag with you today using a few of the new products, including Reactive Ink Cube Packs. There’s also exciting information about a Holiday Stamp-Along happening next month. And be sure to read to the end for GIVEAWAY information.

The cost of the a Holiday Stamp-Along is $25. The event will take place over two days. Saturday, September 18 and Sunday, September 19, 2021 (all times are EST). I participated in the first one and had so much fun. I plan to participate in this one too!
1. Use the largest Slimline Infinity Die or paper trimmer to cut a card measuring 3 1/2” x 8 1/2”. Position Alignment Tool Slimline Stencil over cardstock and tape in place with low tack tape.
2. Arrange images from Warm Wishes Penguins stamp set in exposed squares. It’s also helpful to decide where to place sentiment but that will be stamped later.
3. Stamp the images with Intense-ified Black Ink. Stamp the images on masking paper at the same time and fussy cut them. Place masks over stamped images.
4. Place the Mountain Scene Stencil over one square at a time. I used the square pieces from the Alignment Tool Slimline Stencil to protect the squares I wasn’t working on.
5. Blend over the Mountain Scene Stencil with Thistle from the Floral Reactive Ink Cubes for the lighter areas and Purple Galaxy from the same set for the darker areas. If an area got too dark, I added some Sea Salt to lighten it.
6. Repeat step 5 for each square, covering the ones not in use.
7. Remove masks and color the penguins with Copic markers. I used V000, V12, V15, N0, N2, N4. It might be a good idea to leave the slimline stencil in place to keep the white area clean.
8. Add shadows under the images with V000, V12 and V15.
9. Stamp the sentiments with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Sprinkle with White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Make sure you remove the stencil before heating.
10. Cut the panel down to 3 1/4” x 8 1/4”. This is a good time to make sure everything is straight.
11. Add to a slimline card base with foam tape.
12. Add snow with white gel pen.
1. Die cut the snow globe and circle dies from Layering Snow Globe Fancy Die set together from silver glitter cardstock from the new Glitter Paper Holiday Sparkle and white cardstock. Then die cut without the circle twice from white cardstock and once from acetate.
2. Stamp Santa and the reindeer from the Merry Christmas Santa and Reindeer stamp set with Intense-ified Black Ink on a solid snow globe piece and on masking paper. Fussy cut masks and place over images.
3. Blend Splash from the Sea Palette Reactive Ink Cubes over the the Mountain Scene Stencil lightly. Add Blue Hawaii from the same set to the sky and a heavier amount of Splash to the bottom.
4. Color Santa and reindeer with Copic markers. I used the following: W1, W3, W5, E00, E11, E13, R35, R37, R39, N0, E53, E55, E57, E59
5. Adhere the acetate between the glitter snow globe and the white one. Add foam tape behind white cardstock making sure there are no gaps.
6. Lay Mini Clay Snowflakes on the stamped snow globe. Lay the front piece over this one. I added liquid glue to the foam tape so I could move it around until it was correctly lined up.
7. Adhere thin rope to the back of the snow globe shaker.
8. Stamp the sentiment from the Merry Christmas Santa and Reindeer stamp set on the last solid snow globe panel with Red Royal ink. Adhere this piece over the rope on the back of the snow globe.
9. There is a label die included in the Layering Snow Globe Fancy Die set but I lost mine at some point so instead, I die cut the snowflakes from white glitter cardstock and adhered them where the label goes.
