Hello! You should have arrived here from Sandi MacIver. I’m so excited to be a part of the Spellbinders Holiday Inspiration Blog Hop! Today I’m sharing a clean and simple Christmas card using dies from the Add to Cart collection by Becky Roberts. Spellbinders has so many terrific new products for the 2021 holiday season! Be sure to read to the end to find out how to enter the giveaway!
1. Die cut the large bag and small bag from Shopping Bags die set twice from Echo Park Christmas Dots paper. Die cut handles twice from white cardstock.
2. Assemble the bags and add the handles using adhesive tape. Alternatively, die cut each bag only once for less dimension and cut off assembly parts.
3. Cut a piece of pattern paper to 4” x 5 1/4” and adhere to an A2 card base with foam tape. The paper I used is discontinued but there are a lot of others to choose from. Look for a white paper with a subtle black pattern in it.
4. I thought the bags had a bit too much dimension so I flattened them the way you would a real bag then added liquid glue inside to keep them closed.
5. Adhere bags to card base with liquid glue.
6. Hot foil two sentiments from Mini Christmas Sentiment Strips Glimmer Plates with Red Hot Foil Roll and cut out with the included die. Adhere with foam tape.
7. Add red sequins with liquid glue.
This card was super quick to assemble. The dies in this collection are super versatile and can be used for so many occasions. The bags are dimensional enough they could hold a tiny gift or treats.
