Hello! I’ve got two cards today featuring the new Add to Cart Collection from Spellbinders. They are bright and cheerful and ready for a party. They are also pretty clean and simple with a few easy techniques.

1. Die cut the glasses in the Shopping Cart Party die set from vellum and the inner pieces from Neenah Solar White cardstock. You’ll need six vellum pieces and six cardstock pieces.

2. Color the back of the vellum pieces in rainbow colors or whatever colors you wish. Color the cardstock pieces the same colors. I used Copic markers.

3. Run the vellum pieces through a Xyron Sticker Maker and place cardstock piece behind vellum.

4. Add a drop of liquid glue behind cardstock piece and adhere die cuts to panel Neenah Solar White cardstock cut to 2 3/4” x 5 3/4”. I used a t-square ruler for this part.

5. Using a slightly lighter marker, color a squiggly triangle below each glass. You can color over it with the blender marker to make it look more like a reflection.

6. Add a sentiment from Mini Christmas Sentiment Strips Glimmer set on Nautical cardstock. Cut into a strip and attach to panel with foam tape.

7. Add panel to a mini slimline card base with foam tape.

1. Hot foil the Confetti Background Glimmer Plate on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock. I used Gold Hot Foil Roll. Cut it down to 4” x 5 1/4”.

2. Die cut images from Shopping Cart Party and Shopping Bags die sets. I used the following:

3. Assemble bag and bottle. Add pieces behind bag with thin foam squares. Attach bag to panel.

4. Hot foil sentiment from Mini Christmas Sentiment Strips Glimmer seton to Nautical cardstock, cut into a strip and adhere to panel with foam tape.

5. Add panel to an A2 card base with foam tape.

It took about an hour to create both cards and most of that time was spent die cutting. If you don’t have a Xyron or you find the adhesive isn’t strong enough, attach Stick It adhesive sheets to the vellum before die cutting. If you do so you’ll need to color the vellum before it’s cut.
