Hello! Have you tried any of the dies designed by Susan Tierney-Cockburn? They are incredible! I’m not gonna lie, they can be a lot of work but I think you’ll agree, it’s worth it!

1. Die cut the flower from Cactus Dahlia and Ornamental Garden Pottery die set out of the following colors – Peony, Azalea, Pumpkin, Plum. Cut the leaves from Meadow cardstock. Be sure to check each die for the number of times to cut each one.

Cut the pot from Chestnut cardstock.

2. Blend on ink to add some interest to the pieces. I used Regal Kiss, Raspberry Bliss, Sparkling Rose, Persimmon, Espresso and Olive.

3. Shape the die cut pieces by following Susan’s instructions found on YouTube. It helps to have Susan’s Garden Ultimate Toolkit. I use it frequently.

4. Hot foil the Essential Duo Lines Glimmer Rectangle on a 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of Paradise cardstock with Polished Brass Hot Foil Roll.

5. Adhere the pot to the foiled panel.

6. Assemble flowers as you place them on the flowerpot using a liquid glue. I used Bearly Arts Precision Glue. The video is also helpful with the assembly part.

7. If you wish to add a bud as I did, you’ll need to cut the smallest flower die set two more times from Azalea cardstock. *I forgot to shape the bud before adding it to the card.*

8. Hot foil the September 2021 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month on Arctic cardstock with Polished Brass Hot Foil Roll and die cut with coordinating die. (Not currently available but I will update here when it is.)

Add banner to card with thin foam squares.

9. Adhere to a white A2 card base. Add clear drops with liquid glue.

I am so thrilled with how this card turned out. I did all the die cutting, then sat down to watch tv and shape them all. Like I said, it was a lot of work but so worth it? I hope you’ll give these dies a try. I’d love to see what you create.

Thanks for visiting!
