Hello! I’m here with two new holiday cards for you featuring products from the new Simon Says Stamp release, Peace on Earth. A slimline die makes it easier to die cut a full background. Stencils are very popular right now, as well. The Winter Seals would make great tags too.

1. Die cut the Filigree Slim Plate Die from Neenah Solar White, Cranberry, Nautical and Meadow cardstocks.

I placed tape on the backs of the red and green die cuts to avoid losing any pieces. Better yet, add Stick it adhesive to the back of the cardstock before die cutting that way everything already has adhesive on it.

2. Adhere the white panel to a slimline card base.

3. Inlay all of the colored cardstock pieces; the reds for the flowers, green for the leaves and navy for the dots.

4. Stamp the sentiments from the XL Christmas Greetings stamp set with Embossing and Watermark Ink on Cranberry cardstock. Sprinkle on White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set.

5. I do not have coordinating dies so I fussy cut the sentiment. Cut the sub-sentiment with a Sentiment Label die. Adhere with thin foam squares.

6. There are tiny indentations throughout panel. Add tiny star confetti over each of them for a little shine.

1. Ink blend Prize Ribbon, Salvaged Patina and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks onto a 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of white cardstock.

2. Place the Peace, Joy, Hope, Love stencil over the blended panel. Add the same ink colors through the stencil.

3. Cut the panel down to 3 3/4” x 5”. I like to cut it down after I’m finished to straighten things out.

4. Stamp the sentiment from the Winter Seals stamp set with Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. Once the ink is dry, die cut with a circle die slightly larger to leave a white border.

I tried several different ink colors for the sentiment but none looked as good as the black.

5. Adhere the panel to an A2 card base with foam tape. Add the sentiment with thin foam squares.

6. Add a trail of stars and sequins to the panel with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

The inlay die cutting takes some time but it was fairly straightforward. The more you prep ahead of time, the easier it is.

The ink blending on the second card takes a little time but the subtle tone on tone effect is incredible.

There’s so many more great products in the Peace on Earth release from Simon Says Stamp you’ll want to check out! Thanks for visiting!
