Hello! The October 2021 A Blog Named Hero challenge is texture. On October 1, I added texture through heat embossing and lacquer pen. Today, Iā€™m adding texture by dry embossing a stencil and heat embossing.

1. Run a piece of 4 1/4ā€ x 5 1/2ā€ piece of Neenah Solar White Cardstock and the Victorian Stencil through a die cutting machine using the embossing sandwich. You may need to add a shim or two.

2. Using a blending brush, add Soft Pool Ink from the edges almost to the center. Then add Pool Ink just at the corners. You want to create a glowing center. set aside to dry.

3. Heat emboss the angel from the Steampunk Holiday stamp set with Gold Embossing Powder. Die cut with coordinating die.

4. Heat emboss the sentiment from Victorian Christmas Messages on the embossed panel with Gold Embossing Powder.

5. Add the panel to and A2 card base with strong adhesive. My panel warped quite a bit so I used 4ā€ wide adhesive tape.

6. Add the die cut angel with thin foam squares.
