Hello! I’m so honored that Scrappy Tails asked me to be a guest designer for their new release. I love interactive cards, so of course I said yes!

1. Die cut all the pieces from the Slimline Snowman Add-On from Neenah Solar White Cardstock once. Die cut the solid snowman twice.

2. Color all the pieces of snowman with Copic markers. Since the snowman is not symmetrical color the second solid piece on the wrong side of the die cut to look like the back of the snowman.

I used the following markers: R30, R32, R35, R37, R39, N0, N2, N4, N8, YG63, YG67, YR02, YR07

Markers are linked below.

3. Adhere the two front snowman pieces together and add accessories. Add Nuvo Drops in Ebony over buttons, White Blizzard Nuvo Drops to candy cane and glossy accents to nose and berries. Set aside to dry.

4. Die cut and assemble the Slimline Snow Globe Pop Up pieces from Gina K Designs Red Velvet Cardstock. Everything should be cut twice except for the smallest piece.

5. Tie a piece of clear thread through a red sequin and thread other end through top of snow globe. Adhere thread to back of the snowman’s back with adhesive tape. Adhere the front and back snowman pieces together with liquid glue.

6. Die cut the label from Neenah Solar White Cardstock. Stamp the sentiment from XL Christmas Greetings with Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. Adhere to the front of the snow globe.

7. Die cut the poinsettia twice and berries once from Gina K Design Red Velvet Cardstock. Die cut the sprigs from Hero Hues Meadow Cardstock. These are all from the A7 Festive Garland Cover Plate. Die cut the swirls from the Holiday Essentials set from white glitter cardstock.

8. Blend on some Red Royal ink to the poinsettia and glue the two together. Add Forever Green ink to the sprigs and glue on the berries.

9. Add the poinsettia, holly and swirl in the top right corner of the sentiment. Add glossy accents to the berries and Nuvo Drops in Ebony to the center of the poinsettia.

To make the snowman spin, twist it around several times, flatten the card, place it in an envelope. When the recipient pulls it out, the snowman will spin until it is unwound. You can also add a second label to the back for a place to write a personal message.

There is an Instagram hop today celebrating the new release. Head over to my post to get started.
