Hello! Today I’m sharing a card using Susans Tropical Getaway Plumeria dies from Spellbinders and Susan Tierney Cockburn. There’s quite a collection of 3D flower dies from Susan available now and I am such a huge fan. I was quite intimidated at first but between watching her videos and just working with these dies, I’ve become more comfortable.

1. Die cut the card base and scallop square from Scalloped Symphony die set using Neenah Solar White cardstock.

2. Hot foil the sentiment from Everyday Sentiments II Glimmer Hot Foil Plates in the bottom left corner of square panel with Rose Gold Hot Foil Roll.

3. Add panel to card base with foam tape.

4. Die cut flowers in Susans Tropical Getaway Plumeria dies from Hero Arts Coral Cardstock, leaves from Bermuda cardstock and branch from Chestnut cardstock. The die indicates how many times they need to be cut. Add shading to die cuts with Red Royal, Navy and Cup o’ Joe inks.

5. Assemble flowers according to Susans instructions in her YouTube video.

6. Adhere pieces to card using Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

7. Add Nuvo Drops in Autumn Red or tiny beads to the flower centers.

I created this card once before but disliked it a lot. I thought I was going to have to start over so I decided to take a chance and pull them off the card panel. I usually adhere leaves and flowers with a small amount of liquid glue at the base of the stem or flower center. Gently I pulled them from the panel and guess what? I was able to save them! I used them for this card and it’s not even noticeable. I put a lot of work into these flowers so I was so happy I could save them.

Thanks for visiting!
