Hello! Interactive dies are so much fun. This is the third project I’ve created with the Slimline Snow Globe die from Scrappy Tails. Instead of making this one spin like the other two, I chose let it hang and swing side to side. I wanted to turn it into a shaker but I was having trouble making it work.
1. Die cut the pieces from the Slimline Snow Village Spinner Add On die set out of Neenah Solar White cardstock.
2. Color the loose pieces with Copic markers. Adhere to front piece with liquid glue. *colors listed and linked below*
3. Adhere the front and back pieces together. Add white glitter paper behind.
4. Die cut the pieces for the Slimline Snow Globe die out of Curious Metallic White Silver Cardstock and assemble. I shared a short assembly video here. The back was cut only using the outer die.
To adhere the clear thread I ran a piece of adhesive tape down back of glitter paper and placed the thread in it. I added a second piece of adhesive tape then covered the entire thing with another piece of cardstock adhered with liquid glue.
5. Die cut the pieces from the Holiday Essentials die set out of Neenah Solar White cardstock and color with Copic markers. Assemble and adhere to top of card base with liquid glue. *colors listed and linked below*
6. Die cut sentiment from out of Stardream Metallic Mars cardstock, the shadow from vellum and the label out of Stardream Metallic Black Onyx cardstock. Adhere to base.
7. Add Nuvo drops in White Blizzard to the snow beneath the houses and to the bell. Add Nuvo Glitter Drops in Ruby Slippers to the berries.
