Hello! I’ve got four cards to share with you made using the new Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken. This is a great collection of must have basics!
I love the style and interest these dies add to the cards. They aren’t too feminine or fancy and would work for just about any style of card.
My first card uses the largest Fluted Classics Slimline Rim and Insert pieces die cut from white cardstock. I die cut the largest Fluted Classics Oval Rim and Insert dies from a rainbow of Hero Arts premium cardstock and one more from white. I then added them to the medium Fluted Classics Slimline Outer Rim die and cut off excess after each one. I hot foiled the sentiment from Thank You and Happy Birthday Glimmer Plates on the white piece with Bright Pink Hot Foil Roll before placing it and added acrylic hearts.
I cut the Fluted Classics Square Large Outer Rim and Insert dies from white cardstock along with the Sweet Rondure Insert die. I added Salvaged Patina, Prize Ribbon and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide inks to a panel and adhered behind the center opening. I die cut the Fluted Classics Circle Small Outer Rim and Insert dies from vellum and the sentiment from Layered Mix and Match Sentiment out of white cardstock. Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink was added to the sentiment. A clear acrylic heart was added above the sentiment.
I think this card might be my favorite. I die cut the Fluted Classics Rectangles Large Outer Rim die out of white cardstock. I hot foiled the Slimline Confetti Background Glimmer Plate in Moondust Hot Foil Roll. I also cut Fluted Classics Circle Medium Outer Rim, Insert and Inner Rim from white cardstock, hot foiling the sentiment from Thank You and Happy Birthday Glimmer Plates on the center piece using Aura Hot Foil Roll. The circle was added flat and the outer piece was added with foam tape. I added flowers from Simply Perfect Layered Blooms die set cut from Hero Arts Premium Cardstock.
The last card uses the Fluted Classics Rectangle Large Outer Rim, Large Insert and Medium Insert pieces die cut from Nautical cardstock. The sentiment from Let Your Sentiments Shine Brighter Glimmer Plates was hot foiled in the center of the panel using Aura Hot Foil Roll. I die cut flowers from Simply Perfect Layered Blooms die set out of Hero Arts Premium Cardstock and adhered them along with flat back pearls.
I can see myself reaching for these dies on a regular basis. Even if I don’t use the insert dies, the rims dies are invaluable.
I’d love it if you’d subscribe to my blog. Thanks for visiting!
