Hello! This soft and floral birthday card uses products from Simon Says Stamp’s new release, To the Moon. I’m so impressed with the new Pawsitively Saturated Inks and the colors I used here are quickly becoming my favorites. I also love the way the Clustered Leaves cut from vellum fill in the empty space.

1. Lay the heart portion of the Polka Hearts Stencil over a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock. Mask off the circles and anywhere the ink doesn’t belong.

2. Use the Pawsitively Saturated Peachy ink for all the hearts. Apply Grapefruit ink to the edges and a bit inside the panel. Add Mandarin ink just to the edges.

3. Realign the stencil for the rest of the panel. Repeat steps 1 and 2.

4. Remove stencil and apply Peachy ink over the entire panel, adding less as you move away from the edges. Add Grapefruit ink just to the edges.

5. Stamp the Sketchy Lines cling stamp on the panel using Unicorn White Pigment Ink. This turned out very subtle and I thought maybe I should have used one of the background inks but once everything dried I was pleased with how it looks.

6. Die cut the Wreath of Love wafer die from Neenah Solar White cardstock four times. On one die cut, color the flowers using R30, R32, R35 Copic markers. Color the leaves using YG17, G24, G21. The yellow dots above the flowers are colored with Y02, Y08.

7. Stamp the sentiment from the Sunflower Garden stamp set where the opening of the die cut will be using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink.

8. Cut panel down to 4” x 5 1/4”. Adhere to an A2 card base with foam tape.

9. Adhere the hearts together with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

10. Die cut the Clustered Leaves wafer die from vellum. Cut away the parts that will show inside the heart and adhere the vellum behind the heart stack. Add entire piece to card.

11. Adhere yellow dots above flowers with liquid glue.

12. Add clear heart droplets across panel.
