Hello! The moment I saw this Open Windows Fancy Die, I knew I wanted to pair it up with this older Bookcase Peek a Boo Parts stamp. I love the little peek it gives you into the room. Read to the bottom for giveaway information.

This is my last post for 2021. Thank you for all of your support this year! I’m looking forward to 2022 and planning more projects to share with you. If there is anything you’d like to see from me in the new year, please let me know in the comments.

1. Stamp the Bookcase Peek a Boo Parts stamp with Intense Black Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock.

2. Die cut the window, flower box, flowers and bird from the Open Windows Fancy Die out of Neenah Solar White cardstock.

3. Trace the outline for the window on the stamped image for the section you wish to use.

4. Color the outlined section. I just grabbed a variety of Copic markers for a colorful scene.

5. Color the die cuts with Copic markers. I used W1, W3, W5, B000, B32, B34, Y11, Y15, Y17, YG17, YG67.

6. Stamp a panel of Chestnut cardstock cut to 4” x 5 1/4” with the Woodgrain Bold Print using Unicorn White Pigment Ink. adhere to A2 card base cut from same cardstock with foam tape.

7. Stamp the sentiment from the Wherever You Go stamp set with Embossing and Watermark Ink on Sand cardstock. Sprinkle with White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Trim to a strip.

8. Adhere the window to the bookcase with thin foam squares. Cut out so nothing shows past window.

9. Adhere window to card base with thin foam squares. The bookcase will be adhered flat.

10. Add flower box with thin foam squares. Adhere flowers and bird with a combination of foam squares and liquid glue. Add jewels to flower centers.

You could use a variety of different stamps to create the room scene for this card. I think it would also be fun for the window to show through to the inside of the card.
