Hello! I went very colorful and shiny with the Spellbinders January Small Die of the Month. I think it would still make a great Valentine’s Day card.

I didn’t do it here but I think it might help to emboss the die on a piece of cardstock first as I’ve seen others do. It might make it easier to line things up.

1. Die cut the January Small Die of the Month from a rainbow of colored cardstock.

I used scraps of cardstock and only covered the portion I needed. You could die cut the entire thing an make multiple cards.

2. Adhere the pieces to a thin piece of white cardstock and cut off any excess. This way I didn’t have to make sure I got it lined up properly on a panel that would show on the card.

3. Die cut the entire panel three times from white cardstock and once from holographic cardstock. I used Bearly Arts Precision Glue throughout this card.

4. Adhere the white center decorative hearts together and add holographic heart on top. Adhere to the center of he panel.

5. Adhere the white hearts into the openings on the panel and then adhere the holographic hearts on top.

6. Hot foil a sentiment from the January Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month using Red Hot Foil Roll.

7. Adhere panel to an A2 card base.

Alternatively, you could color the panels with marker or inks. There are so many fun ways to add color and style to this die. I was worried the metallic cardstock would be too much but I love it. I hope you do to!

Don’t forget, the kits are only available until January 24, so pick them up soon!

Thanks for visiting!
