Hello! Simon Says Stamp has a new release today called And Back Again. It’s a companion to the December release called To The Moon. I’ve created this adorable love themed card using a stamp set from each release.
1. Stamp the image from Love Garden Greetings stamp set on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock cut to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” with Fairway Pawsitively Saturated Ink.
2. Add Sprout ink from bottom up and Marine ink from top down. The ink didn’t smear when I gently blended over it. Let dry.
3. Stamp the critters from Love Day stamp set on Neenah Solar White cardstock with Intense Black Ink. Color with Copic markers from product list below.
I don’t have the dies for these stamps but they were very easy to fussy cut. I ran a black marker along the edges to give it a more polished finish.
4. Stamp the heart from the Love Garden Greetings stamp set with Hero Arts Tomato and Red Royal Inks. Die cut with coordinating dies.
5. Stamp the butterflies from Love Garden Greetings stamp set with Intense Black Ink. Color with Copic markers and cut with coordinating dies.
6. Stamp the sentiments in Cadette and Royal Pawsitively Saturated Inks.
7. Before adding hearts, stamp the dog image in Intense Black Ink to add the balloon string. You can also draw it in later as I did.
8. Add hearts with thin foam squares, critters with thin foam squares and liquid glue and butterflies with thin foam squares.
9. Add Glossy Accents to the large heart and balloon heart. Add Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard to the butterflies.
10. Add panel to an A2 card base.
I had so much fun making this card and I love how it turned out! Be sure to check out the entire And Back Again release. There’s a lot of heart dies, and an interesting looking box card die set I think I need to get. They also have reinkers for the new Pawsitively Saturated Inks!
