Hello! I’ve got three cards to share with you made using the new Precision Layering Basics Dies. What wonderful sets of basic dies to ensure straight edges and perfect measurements every time.

When using the A and B sets together to make a 1/16” frame, you’ll need to die cut them separately. I found it easier to cut the smaller die first, then line up the larger one and cut. It is possible, however, to cut the larger one first.

• Die cut largest Precision Layering Mini Slimline A Etched Dies from white cardstock and emboss with Diagonal Stripes Slimline Embossing Folder

• Die cut white cardstock with Precision Layering Mini Slimline A Etched Dies

• Hot foil cardstock twice with Magnolia Glimmer Blooms Glimmer Hot Foil Plate using Gold Hot Foil Roll and lightly color flowers with Copic marker in R30

• Die cut a gold mat 1/8” larger with Precision Layering Mini Slimline A Etched Dies and adhere under foiled cardstock

• Adhere panel to embossed panel with foam tape

• Die cut vellum from Precision Layering Mini Slimline A Etched Dies

• Die cut a thin gold frame from Precision Layering Mini Slimline A Etched Dies and Precision Layering Mini Slimline B Etched Dies 1/8” apart

• Hot foil sentiment from Yana’s Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set on white cardstock with Gold Hot Foil Roll and die cut

• Adhere vellum frame and sentiment to card

• Die cut card panel 1/4” smaller than an A2 card base using Precision Layering A2 A Etched Dies

• Die cut a piece of gold cardstock from Precision Layering Mini Slimline A Etched Dies

• Die cut a piece of white cardstock 1/8” smaller than gold cardstock using Precision Layering Mini Slimline B Etched Dies

• Die cut gold and white cardstock with the scallop border die from Romantic Slimline Borders Etched Dies and adhere together

• Adhere above to the A2 panel with foam tape

• Die cut and assemble pieces from Lemon Zest Etched Dies. I used Hero Hues Meadow and Canary Cardstocks. I added shading with Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Field and Citrine.

• Add shading to die cuts with Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Field and Citrine.

• Adhere die cuts to card with foam tape and liquid glue cutting off any overhang

• Die cut sentiment from Be Bold Lowercase Alphabet and Numbers Etched Dies out of Nautical cardstock and adhere with foam tape

• Die cut # from Be Bold Punctuation & More Etched Dies with Nautical cardstock and adhere with liquid glue

• Add pearls to flower centers and card

• Adhere completed card panel to an A2 card base

• Die cut Stardream Metallic Ruby Cardstock from largest Precision Layering A2 A Etched Dies and adhere to an A2 card base

• Ink blend Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Citrine, Sherbet and Pucker on white cardstock

• Stamp the image from Create a Scene Silhouette Clear Stamp Set over ink blending with Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink

• Die cut with an Precision Layering A2 B Etched Dies

• Die cut a black panel 1/8” larger than ink blended panel from Precision Layering A2 A Etched Dies and adhere under panel

• Adhere above to card base with foam tape

• Die cut a thin gold frame with one Precision Layering A2 A Etched Dies and Precision Layering A2 B Etched Dies 1/8” apart in size and adhere over ink blending

• Stamp and emboss sentiment with gold embossing powder on Hero Hues Pitch Black Cardstock

• Die cut with an Precision Layering A2 B Etched Dies

• Die cut gold cardstock 1/8” larger from Precision Layering A2 A Etched Dies and adhere under black cardstock

• Adhere to card

• Add Sunny Studios Stamps Gold Pearls throughout card

There are so many size options presented here. I’ll always be able to find the size I need. The finished edge of a die cut is so nice. In addition you can lay the die over a large piece to decide precisely what part you want to use.
