Hello! Spellbinders has a new Be Bold Collection featuring alphabet, punctuation, flowers and a great lemon die set. I’ve created a set of three cards for you today using two of these products. The alphabet was quite a lot to die cut but it was satisfying to see how the letters turned out and the phrases I was able to make were so worth it!
1. Die cut the letter from Be Bold Lowercase Alphabet and Numbers die set out of Nautical and Mirror Gold cardstocks. Die cut the Be Bold Punctuation dies as well. Adhere together offset with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
2. Die cut the pieces from the Lemon Zest die set from Mustard, Meadow and white cardstocks. Back the lemons with a scrap of Canary Cardstock.
3. Emboss Neenah Solar White cardstock cut to desired card size with one of the new Spellbinders embossing folders. I used the Mandala Flower, Carved Tiles and Geo Screen Embossing Folders for my cards.
4. Line up the letters in a straight line. Hold together with some post it tape. I used the raised edge of a Waffle Flower Media Mat to line the letters up.
5. Adhere the lemon pieces with thin foam squares. Cut off any overhang.
6. Add words to panel with a thin foam squares cut in half.
7. Add Crystal Mixed Color Essential Gems to the flower centers and throughout the panel.
8. Adhere panel to card base.
My favorite part of making these three cards from this collection was adding the cute lemon sayings and puns. I didn’t need to go searching for them. I was able to create them myself! The gold behind the letters really adds something more to the cards as well.
Thanks for visiting!
