Hello! It’s February 1, so it’s time for new club kits from Spellbinders. Today I’m sharing this typewriter and flowers set from the Large Die of the Month. Maybe I went overboard but I say die cut and decorate until you’re happy!

1. Die cut all the pieces from the February Large Die of the Month out of a variety of cardstock colors. I used a combination of Gina K Design and Hero Arts cardstock. The silver cardstock is Spellbinders.

2. Add shading to the front layer of the flowers with Copic markers. Alternatively, you could die cut from a different shade.

3. Assemble all the elements with Bearly Arts Precision Glue. Use tweezers to hold things together while they dry when needed.

4. Emboss a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock cut to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” with the February Embossing Folder of the Month.

5. Begin adding die cuts to the embossed panel with foam tape and liquid glue. The typewriter and large flowers are added with foam tape. most everything else is added with Bearly Arts Precision Glue. I slipped the “happy” panel in last.

6. Add Crystal Mix Color Essential Gems to the centers of the tiny flowers and randomly throughout.

7. Add panel to an A2 card base with double sided adhesive tape and fluff up the flowers and leaves.

Like I said before, you can add as many die cuts as you want. I’d love to create this again in a more sophisticated color palette like black, white and red. Don’t forget you can only sign up for the clubs until February 24. So, if you aren’t signed up, head over there so you don’t miss this great die.
