Hello! I was so excited to see a new Spellbinders collection from Yana Smakula. Isn’t it incredible? I loved creating this collection of cards using these new products as well as two new embossing folders.
1. Hot foil pieces from Geo Foliage Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set, Magnolia Bouquet Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set and Diagonal Glimmer Stripes Glimmer Hot Foil Plate on Hammermill cardstock with Aura Hot Foil Roll. Die cut with coordinating dies.
2. Color the flowers with Copic Markers in RV19, RV14, RV02, RV00
3. Die cut the sentiment from Yana’s Layered Script Sentiments Etched Dies once from Gold cardstock and twice from white cardstock. Adhere together with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
4. Emboss a piece of 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” Nautical cardstock with Optical Arches Embossing Folder. Add to an A2 card base.
5. Cut hot foiled panel to 3 3/4” x 5” and adhere to embossed cardstock with foam tape.
6. Add sentiment and leaves to card with liquid glue and flowers with thin foam squares.
7. Finish card off with Metallic Gold Drops.
1. Hot foil a piece of 3 3/4” x 5” Hammermill cardstock with Long and Short Tear Plates from Geo Foliage Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set with Aura Hot Foil Roll. Hot foil flower and leaf from Magnolia Bouquet Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set as well.
2. Color the flower with Copic Markers in RV19, RV14, RV02, RV00
3. Die cut the sentiment from Yana’s Layered Script Sentiments Etched Dies once from Gold cardstock and twice from white cardstock. Die cut shadow layer from Nautical cardstock and adhere together with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
4. Adhere sentiment to foiled panel with liquid glue. Add flower above “birthday”.
5. Emboss a piece of 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” Nautical cardstock with Loops Embossing Folder. Add to an A2 card base.
6. Add foiled panel to embossed piece with foam tape.
7. Finish card off with Metallic Gold Drops.

5. Add frame to embossed panel with foam strips and add flowers to frame with foam tape and liquid glue.
7. Adhere sentiment to frame with liquid glue. Finish card off with Metallic Gold Drops.
1. Die cut Magnolia Blooms Etched Dies from white cardstock once, keeping all pieces and Nautical cardstock twice, keeping only the frame. Die cut shadow layer from vellum.
I added masking tape behind white die cut to keep all the pieces together.
2. Color the flower with Copic Markers in RV19, RV14, RV02, RV00.
3. Adhere white frame to the vellum shadow layer. Inlay all the colored pieces with Bearly Arts Precision Glue. Add Nautical frames.
4. Emboss a piece of 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” Nautical cardstock with Loops Embossing Folder. Add to an A2 card base.
5. Die cut Geo Hex Outer Die from Geo Foliage Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set out of white cardstock and add to embossed panel with foam tape.
6. Die cut the sentiment from Yana’s Layered Script Sentiments Etched Dies once from Gold cardstock and twice from white cardstock. Adhere together with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
7. Add sentiment to flower piece with liquid glue then adhere over shape.
8. Finish card off with Metallic Gold Drops.
These glimmer plates and dies will definitely get a lot of use in my cardmaking. Thanks for visiting!
