Hello! The Stay Craft with A Blog Named Hero March Challenge starts today. This months theme is Send a Hug. I’m sharing a very bright and cheerful card today. Remember to enter your project for a chance to win one of two $50 gift cards to Hero Arts.

1. Add a rainbow of Reactive Ink colors to a piece of 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” Neenah Solar White cardstock using the Flowy Stripes Stencil. I used Taffy, Fruit Punch, Creamsicle, Lemon Drop, Key Lime Fizz, Pool Party, Splash and Thistle Reactive Inks.

2. Remove the stencil and use the blending brushes over each ink color to soften and spread the color. Add additional ink to the brush if necessary but I only did that for one or two colors.

3. Stamp the Script Bold Prints over the inked panel with Unicorn White Pigment Ink.

4. Cut the panel down to 4” x 5 1/4” and adhere to an A2 card base with foam tape.

5. Die cut the clouds from the Rainbow Infinity Dies once from white cardstock and once from white glitter cardstock.

6. Die cut the sun from the Rainbow Infinity Dies from Canary Cardstock and stamp a face from Hero Lifestyle Faces stamp set with Intensified Black Ink.

7. Die cut “Big Hugs” from the Big Hugs Stamp and Cut three times from Pitch Black Cardstock and once from Black Glitter Cardstock. Adhere together with Precision Glue XL.

8. Stamp the sub sentiment from Big Hugs Stamp and Cut on the large cloud with the Mini Reactive Inks in the same colors as the background.

9. Add the “Big Hugs” to the center of the card, tucking the sun under it before the glue dries.

10. Adhere the white clouds offset from the glitter clouds and place on card panel with foam tape.

11. Finish card by adding a few clear drops.

Now it’s time to visit the Hero Arts blog for more inspiration from our design team and enter your own card in the challenge. Can’t wait to see what you create!
