Hello! The Spellbinders Small Die of the Month for March is absolutely adorable. There are dies included that make it interactive if you wish. My card is not interactive due to a large spot of red ink where it didn’t belong. If I chose to make it interactive, hiding the spot would have been much harder. The card is still so much fun!
1. Using the Hero Arts Clouds and Grass Stencil and Pawsitively Saturated Inks, add a rainbow of clouds to a piece of 3 1/4” x 8 1/4” Neenah Solar White cardstock. Add to a slimline card base with foam tape.
I used Peony, Watermelon, Grapefruit, Sunbeam, Limelicious, Surf, Cadette and Sweets inks.
2. Die cut the bunny and balloons from the Small Die of the Month out of Neenah Solar White cardstock.
3. Color the bunny with Latte, and Carnation inks and and blending brush. Assemble with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
4. Color the balloons with Peony, Watermelon and Grapefruit inks. Adhere strings and ends.
5. Add balloons in a cluster to card with thin foam squares.
6. Adhere bunny to card with thin foam squares. Use a small amount of glue to hold balloon strings.
7. Die cut the sentiment from three times from white cardstock and once from Gold cardstock. Adhere together and then add to card.
8. Finish the card with a rainbow of sequins. The real reason I added the sequins is because I got a huge red ink spot on the green cloud!
Don’t forget, you need to subscribe to the Spellbinders clubs before March 24 in order to receive this month’s kits. They also have value kits available.
Thanks for visiting!
