Hello! Have you seen the new Paint Your World Collection from Spellbinders and Vicky Papaioannou? It is incredible! I had so much fun creating this card. When it came time for a sentiment I needed something that wouldn’t get lost on this card and the Be Bold Lowercase Alphabet and Be Bold Punctuation die sets were perfect.
1. Die cut the pieces from Artful Brush Etched Dies brush handle out of Pitch Black Cardstock, the brush head die from Gold Cardstock and the bristles from Pebble Cardstock. I cut the bristle die four times for each brush.
2. Die cut the paint from a rainbow of cardstocks. I used Hero Hues Azalea, Cherry, Pumpkin, Guava, Mustard, Canary, Kiwi, Meadow, Paradise, Lapis and Lavender cardstocks. Cardstock packs are linked below.
3. Assemble the brushes using Bearly Arts Precision Glue. I did this in an assembly line fashion. First the metal piece on all the brushes, then the bristles, then the paint.
4. Adhere the paintbrushes along the front of a slimline card base at staggered heights with thin foam squares. Cut off overhang.
5. Die cut the Be Bold Lowercase Alphabet and Be Bold Punctuation dies from black cardstock twice and black glitter cardstock once. Glue together with Bearly Arts Precision Glue. The apostrophe is cut from the bracket.
To keep the letters lined up I used the Waffle Flower Water Media Mat. I placed each letter against the bottom edge and then picked up the entire sentiment with masking tape. I added glue and placed it on the card.
6. Die cut the flower petals from the Painted Blooms Etched Dies 12 times from white cardstock and the flower center from six of the colors used for the paint. Adhere together.
7. Adhere the flowers throughout the card and cut off overhang. Add Glossy Accents to the flower center.
I love this collection! I only have these two sets right now but I really want the entire collection, especially the Painter’s Palette Etched Dies.
