Hello! Spellbinders just released a few new stitching dies in their Spring Into Stitching collection and I really enjoy using them. I found the idea for this card on Pinterest and adapted it to fit the dies I had. I love the contrast of the floss with the dark background.

1. Die cut circles using the Large Circle Outer Rim die from Fluted Circle die set two times from Nautical cardstock and once from Neenah Solar White cardstock.

2. Die cut the flowers and leaves from the Stitched Flower die set on one of the Nautical circles and cut one Large Flower Insert and Outline out of Nautical cardstock.

3. Stitch the die cuts using three strands of embroidery floss.

4. Die cut the Large Outer Rim, Large Insert and Large Inner Rim dies from Fluted Circle die set out of Nautical cardstock to frame the stitched flowers and add to stitched panel with foam tape. This is a good time to make sure things are even and adjust the circle as needed.

5. Score the white circle 1/4” from edge. Add adhesive only above score line and attach to Nautical circle.

6. Add the stitched panel to the circle card with thin foam squares. I thought a little dimension would make things lay better.

7. Add the stitched flower with Bearly Arts Precision Glue at center and thin foam squares under the petals.

8. Die cut the sentiment twice from Layered Script Sentiments die set from Neenah Solar White cardstock and again from Gold cardstock. Adhere together then adhere to card.

9. Add Gold Drops throughout and a hot pink pearl on the small flower.

Have you tried stitching on cardstock? Do you like it? Tell me about it in the comments.
