Hello! It’s time for a new Stay Crafty With A Blog Named Hero Challenge. This month we are going to Blend It Up! That means it’s all about ink blending. On my card you see I used three different ways to add ink blending to my card.

1. Use the Color Layering Tulip Bouquet Stencils along with the Taffy, Lemon Drop and Key Lime Fizz Reactive Inks to create the flowers. I used the same inks for both layers, applying it heavier on the second layer. Die cut with coordinating die.

There is a stamp set that coordinates with the Tulip Layering Stencil. I just chose not to use it for this card.

2. Ink blend over the Daisy Mosaic Stencil on Neenah Solar White cardstock with Thistle Reactive Ink, applying it darker at one corner and getting lighter towards the other. Use the ink leftover on the blending brush to soften the background. Cut down to A2 size with Rectangle Infinity Dies.

3. Die cut the mug from Hug in a Mug Stamp and Cut XL from Neenah Solar White cardstock. Add thistle ink and allow to dry.

4. Stamp the sentiment from Message Strips Stamp and Cut XL with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Sprinkle with White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I cut the stamp in half to line it up the way I wanted.

5. Add the flowers to the mug and apply foam tape over the back of both pieces and place on stenciled panel. Don’t forget to add the inner mug piece behind the flowers!

6. Adhere panel to an A2 card base. Adhere a white heart below sentiment.
