Hello! Recently, after an injury and hospitalization, I wasn’t feeling very creative. At first I struggled with what to create for this ink blending challenge post. I was near giving up when I realized sometimes simple is better. Not only did keeping this simple help me, it also gave me two cards and no waste!

1. Add Lemon Drop, Key Lime Fizz and Pool Party Reactive Inks to a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock using a blending brush. The area should be larger than the die.

2. Die cut the Happy Father’s Day Fancy Die and shadow from the blended cardstock. Save all the pieces.

3. Die cut the Happy Father’s Day Fancy Die and shadow twice more from white cardstock and the shadow only a third time.

4. Adhere all pieces together and adhere the negative pieces to the shadow die cut.

5. Cut down the ink blended panel to 3 3/4” x 5” and stamp he sub-sentiment from the Floral Mandala stamp set in Pool Party Reactive Ink. Add panel to an A2 card base with foam tape.

6. Place the die cut sentiment in the opening in the panel.

7. Place the negative pieces on a piece of white cardstock cut to 4” x 5 1/4” and stamp sub-sentiment below it with Pool Party Reactive Ink. Add panel to an A2 card base with foam tape.

8. Add sequins with Precision Glue XL.

Head over to the Hero Arts blog to enter your own project in the challenge. I look forward to seeing what you create!

Thanks for visiting!
