Spellbinders Layered Fleur Bouquet Slimlines & Essential Glimmer Solid Plate

Hello! Spellbinders has released beautiful new dies from Becca Feeken as well as solid glimmer plates in several shapes. The two cards I’m sharing today use pieces from both of these collections so I’m sharing them together.

When I’m creating hot foiled sentiments I like to foil the whole set at once with Aura Hot Foil Roll (my favorite) so I can grab them when I need them. For these cards, after hot foiling the sentiments, I did negative foiling with the leftovers to create an additional set.

1. Die cut the Sweet Leaf Mini Slimline die three times. Adhere together with Bearly Arts Precision Glue and attach to a mini slimline card base.

2. Die cut the Layered Daisies dies from Canary and Meadow cardstocks.

3. Add Creamsicle Reactive Ink to center of daisy pieces and Green Apple to greenery.

4. Assemble with liquid glue and adhere to card.

5. Adhere sentiment from Yana’s Sentiments Foiled Basics created with negative foiling using the Essential Glimmer Solid Rectangle Plate and Aura Hot Foil Roll.

1. Hot foil Essential Glimmer Solid Rectangle using Moondust Hot Foil Roll on Hammermill cardstock.

I used three cardstock shims plus the regular foiling plates to get excellent results. You may not need to do that but don’t give up if your results aren’t great the first time.

2. Cut with a paper trimmer or rectangle die to slightly larger than glimmered area. Adhere to an A2 card base with craft foam.

3. Create the Layered Daisy as described above and attach to glimmer rectangle.

4. Hot foil all sentiments from Yana’s Sentiments Foiled Basics set with Aura Hot Foil Roll. Die cut and adhere to card.

5. Use the leftover foiling and the Essential Glimmer Solid Rectangle to do negative foiling. Die cut all sentiments.

I have seen some pretty amazing creations with the new Essential Glimmer Solid Plates on Instagram. I look forward to using other shapes.

Thanks for visiting!
