Hello! Spellbinders keeps releasing such inspiring products. This time, I’m talking about their Inspired Basics Collection. They’ve got slimline borders, a great tag and even a perfectly sized bow. I’ve created three projects for you today featuring the new collection plus some older products.
1. Die cut the Loopy Circles Border from the Slimline Border dies twice from white cardstock with at least an inch of extra space.
2. Cut a piece of white cardstock to 4” x 5 1/4” and cut the same slimline border at an angle across panel.
3. Back the open area of each border with Cranberry, Pumpkin and Canary Cardstock. I adhered them with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
4. Adhere these pieces to another 4” x 5 1/4” piece of white cardstock. Place on an A2 card base.
5. Hot foil sentiment from Mini Everyday Sentiments with Aura Hot Foil Roll, cut into a strip and add to card with foam tape.
1. Die cut the tag from Create a Decorative Tag die set twice and die cut inserts from one of those tags.
2. Back each opening with Cranberry, Pumpkin and Canary Cardstock. Adhere the second tag behind first.
3. Create a tassel using the Fringe die and the bow center wrap included in the Create a Flutter and Flower Bow die set out of Canary and Gold cardstock. Adhere a string in center of tassel.
4. Hot foil sentiment from Mini Everyday Sentiments with Aura Hot Foil Roll. Die cut from tag die included in die set.
5. Add tag to string and tie through hole in large tag.
1. Die cut the gift bag and handles from the Gift Bag die set out of white cardstock. Die cut the Pico Loop Border die from Slimline Border dies from top of bag. Add handles.
2. Die cut the bow from Create a Flutter and Flower Bow die set out of white cardstock and assemble with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
3. Die cut the flower from Pumpkin cardstock and the center from Canary cardstock. Adhere to bow.
4. Create a tassel from Cranberry and Gold cardstock. Adhere string to center and loop through bow.
5. Add bow to front of bag.
This was a fun collection to work with! I really enjoy making a matching set of papercraft items. Head over to Spellbinders to check out all their new products!
