Hello! Spellbinders has a new collection from Susan Tierney-Cockburn called Through the Garden Gate. I fell in love with this beautiful Floribunda Rose and knew I needed to create something with it.

1. Emboss a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock with the Mandala Flower Embossing Folder. Adhere to a slimline card base.

2. Die cut the pieces for the Floribunda Rose from Hero Hues Peony and Meadow cardstocks.

3. Die cut the pieces for the Forget Me Not Flowers from Hero Hues Dove White, Canary, Meadow and Chestnut cardstocks. The ladybugs were cut from Cranberry Cardstock.

4. Follow Susan’s instructions to assemble the flowers on the Spellbinders YouTube channel. I use Bearly Arts Precision Glue which is very strong but a bit runny.

5. Adhere the large rose over the circle in the embossing folder then adhere other pieces around it.

6. Hot foil a sentiment from the Celebrate You Glimmer Sentiments on Hammermill paper with Prism Hot Foil Roll. Cut into a strip and adhere with foam tape.

I found these dies time consuming and intimidating when I first used them. Now, they are still time consuming but the assembly gets easier and there’s so much satisfaction when I see the finished product. I encourage you to give it a try!

I think this card would be perfect in a box maybe with a clear top. It seems perfect for a wedding card.
