Spellbinders May Clubs Inspiration

Hello! Today I’m sharing four cards that use some combination of the Small Die of the Month, Large Die of the Month, Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month and the Embossing Folder of the Month for May from Spellbinders. This month all these products work so well together.

Every card uses the May Embossing Folder of the Month on Nautical cardstock. Each card also uses Hero Hues cardstock in Adriatic and Paradise. I love a a chance to make a set of cards.

This card features both the Small Die of the Month and the Embossing Folder of the Month. I stitched the leaves and flowers using three strands of embroidery floss. When finished, I adhered all the ends down with adhesive tape plus covered the rest of the back with it and adhered a second die cut panel behind the stitched one. The letters were die cut three times and stacked. I finished the flowers off with Iridescent jewels using Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

This card features the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month and the Embossing Folder of the Month. The butterfly body was die cut from a Teal Glitter Foam Sheet I foiled the inner wings with Moondust Hot Foil Roll on Adriatic cardstock. It’s subtle but beautiful. The sentiment was foiled with Aura Hot Foil Roll on Hammermill cardstock and die cut with the coordinating die. To finish off the butterfly, I added Blue Topaz Jewels with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

This card uses the Embossing Folder of the Month, the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month and the Large Die of the Month. The butterfly is hot foiled with Moondust Hot Foil Roll and the body is cut from Teal Glitter Foam. I used the letter dies and shadow die from the Large Die of the Month for the sentiment. The jewels are Blue Topaz adhered with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

This card uses the Embossing Folder of the Month and the Large Die of the Month. I tried to add a butterfly but couldn’t make it work. The large letters were embroidered with silver metallic thread then a second die cut was adhered behind the stitched one and place on the shadow die cut. The “thank” was die cut once, adhered together and added the the card. I finished the flowers off with Iridescent Jewels using Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
